What’s up, and what’s new?

Since LP Gas named him a Rising Leader in 2018, Frank Edwards has moved from hands-on operations, including tank monitoring and customer billing systems, into high-level strategy and succession planning, and mentoring the next generation of propane professionals at Coles Energy and industrywide.

He serves as state director for the Ohio Propane Gas Association and National Propane Gas Association.

Edwards says taking care of employees is the key to retention and growth, and credits honesty, patience and selflessness as core leadership traits. He also coaches football as a way to mentor youth, and praises propane’s uniquely collaborative culture, where competitors act as allies in growing the industry.
