Eight liquid fuels pipeline projects have been completed since the start of 2025, and 14 new projects are planned, the U.S. Energy Information Administration reports in the 2026 release of its Liquids Pipeline Projects Database.

Enterprise Products Partners’ Bahia Pipeline and the Seminole Red Pipeline (Midland-to-Echo 2) are among the new projects.

The Bahia Pipeline, Enterprise’s 550-mile, 600,000-barrels-per-day (bpd) natural gas liquids (NGL) pipeline, originates in West Texas from the Delaware and Midland basins and connects to its fractionation complex in Chambers County, Texas. Enterprise converted the Seminole Red back to an NGL pipeline (originally an NGL pipeline that was converted to a crude oil pipeline) while it built the Bahia pipeline.

The Hiland Express is another NGL project, as Kinder Morgan converted the Double H Pipeline system from crude oil to NGL.

The Coastal Bend NGL Pipeline Expansion 1 is the former EPIC Y-grade pipeline. EPIC expanded its Y-grade pipeline by 50,000 bpd for total pipeline capacity of 225,000 bpd. The pipeline carries Y-grade from West Texas to Corpus Christi, Texas.

MPLX’s BANGL Expansion 1 is a project that expanded the total pipeline capacity to 250,000 bpd. The pipeline carries Y-grade that connects the Delaware and Midland basins to a fractionator in Sweeny, Texas.
