January 25, 2019 By

Ann Kelly will serve as AmeriGas Propane‘s next vice president – finance and CFO, effective Feb. 11, the company announced.

Kelly succeeds Ted Jastrzebski, who previously served as the principal financial officer for the company on an interim basis since Hugh Gallagher’s appointment to president and CEO in September 2018.

Jastrzebski will continue to serve as CFO of UGI Corp., the parent to AmeriGas, the company says.

“Ann has demonstrated impressive industry and financial knowledge since joining the UGI family in 2014,” says John Walsh, president and CEO of UGI Corp. and chairman of AmeriGas. “In her time with the organization, she has been an invaluable sponsor of key initiatives, and we expect her to play a key role in our continued success as the CFO of AmeriGas.”

Since March 2018, Kelly served as UGI’s vice president, chief accounting officer and corporate controller. Additionally, she served as UGI Corp.’s assistant treasurer from 2016-18. Kelly joined UGI Utilities Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of UGI Corp., in 2014 as its controller and principal accounting officer.

Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Master of Business Administration from Villanova University. She is also a certified public accountant.

Laurie Bergman will succeed Kelly as vice president, chief accounting officer and corporate controller of UGI Corp., effective Feb. 11, the company explains.

Bergman, who joined AmeriGas in 2006, served as chief accounting officer and corporate controller of AmeriGas since 2016. Prior to that, she served as group director – financial planning and analysis of AmeriGas from 2014-16.

“Laurie has been an important member of the AmeriGas team since 2006,” Walsh says. “In addition to her daily responsibilities, she has successfully led crucial corporate-wide projects. She is a great fit for her new position, having served AmeriGas in a similar capacity, and we look forward to working with her as a member of the UGI Corp. leadership team.”
