Anova, a provider of industrial tank monitoring and IoT solutions, is expanding its presence to Brazil by launching its Universal Tank Monitor (UTM), along with the Anova cloud platform, Unify, and two mobile apps. These solutions will be unveiled to the Brazilian market during Liquid Gas Week 2025, which is held Sept. 22-26 in Rio de Janeiro by the World Liquid Gas Association (WLGA).

The UTM is engineered for accuracy, durability and flexibility, enabling reliable propane level monitoring across diverse storage configurations. When integrated with Unify, it offers a platform to manage tanks, forecast demand and optimize delivery routes. It is available in a mobile app.

“Brazil is a key market for propane, with unique logistical challenges,” says Alexis Ateca, vice president of product development and marketing at Anova. “By bringing the UTM, Unify and our mobile applications, Connect and Go, to the country, we’re advancing how propane is monitored, delivered and managed. This launch is a strong commitment to Brazil. We are here to support industry growth, strengthen supply chains and empower our customers with the tools they need for long-term success.”

Three solutions, one connected ecosystem

By offering a complete ecosystem that connects diverse solutions, Anova helps companies operate more safely and efficiently by connecting technologies to optimize operations, which reduces operating costs and CO2 emissions, according to the company.

“The UTM collects real-time level, temperature and pressure data, and securely transmits it via cellular networks to Unify,” says Jonathan Arthur, senior product operations manager at Anova. “This data can be accessed through web and mobile dashboards or integrated into clients’ systems via API.”

Utilizing the information collected, the Anova solution offers forecasts of LPG availability, supports data-driven logistics decisions and improves inventory and delivery management. Given that companies can track inventory, prevent runouts and plan deliveries based on actionable predictive insights, they are able to reduce costs and avoid unnecessary truck rolls.

Anova Unify manages monitored propane tanks from a single dashboard, with predictive analytics for smarter logistics. Unify Connect and Unify Go are mobile tools for technicians, drivers and customers to view tank levels, schedule deliveries and receive alerts instantly, and the UTM combines rugged technology, real-time connectivity and predictive analytics.

Anova’s expansion into Brazil marks a significant milestone in the company’s global growth strategy, with it having connected over 1.8 million tanks in more than 80 countries.
