Blossman Gas acquires Southern LP Gas

Blossman Gas Inc. acquired Southern LP Gas Inc.

“This is an exciting acquisition,” says Stuart Weidie, president and CEO of Blossman Gas. “We are pleased that after many years of quality service and growing an exemplary company, Southern LP [Gas] selected Blossman Gas to transition their business.”

Bowdon, Georgia-based Southern LP Gas was in service for 34 years prior to the acquisition.

“We knew [Blossman Gas] as a competitor, because there was a location about a mile from our office,” says Paul Widener, former president of Southern LP [Gas]. “Over the years, there seemed to be a sense of integrity and professionalism. We also saw the longevity of their employees and felt there must be a good reason for their loyalty. Then, at the first meeting with Blossman [Gas], they shared their belief that employees are their greatest asset.”
