Button Oil & Propane acquires Phillips Fuel

Button Oil & Propane, based in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, purchased the fuel and home heating service business of Phillips Fuel in Plymouth, Pennsylvania.

Founded in 1929, Phillips Fuel provides propane, coal, fuel oil, kerosene and off-road diesel to the Wyoming Valley, Back Mountain, Bear Creek and Mountain Top regions.

Button Oil & Propane, established in 1933 and currently under fourth-generation leadership, markets energy products, transportation services, real estate and convenience retail products including food service and construction products and services. ​

According to Button Oil & Propane, the acquisition enhances the products and services available to Phillips Fuel customers, including online ordering.
