Cargas Systems promotes five to management positions

Cargas Systems, a software and consulting company, promoted several of its team members to support recent company growth.

Fred Bowers

Cargas promoted Fred Bowers to manager of product development. In the new role, Bowers will supervise software engineers in the Cargas energy division. Bowers’ key responsibilities include assisting in defining product vision and strategy and overseeing the requirements gathering process as it relates to ongoing software improvements. Bowers joined Cargas in 2007 as a product development team leader.

Cory Grimm was also promoted to serve as Cargas’ manager of consulting. In the new role, Grimm will supervise the system consultants and project managers in the Cargas energy division. His responsibilities include managing team resources, contributing to procedure improvements and ensuring projects are implemented. Grimm joined Cargas in 2013 as a systems consultant and project manager.

Rob Mallon

Ian Libhart

The company promoted Ian Libhart to manager of product quality. In the new role, Libhart will supervise the quality engineers, business analysts and training content specialists in the Cargas energy department. Libhart’s responsibilities include overseeing software quality and usability testing efforts, developing online learning tools and defining software requirements. He joined Cargas in 2007 as a consultant, quality engineer and team leader.

Rob Mallon now serves as Cargas’ manager of technical services. In the new role, Mallon will supervise the software engineers who are responsible for custom software in the business solutions division. His responsibilities include managing team resources, overseeing solution design and serving as a lead developer on complex projects. Mallon joined Cargas in 2013 as a system engineer and team leader.

Keith Neff

Also, Cargas promoted Keith Neff to manager of technical services. In the role, Neff will supervise software engineers in the Cargas energy division who are responsible for data conversion, custom report development and custom programming related to the company’s software. Neff is responsible for monitoring team performance, maintaining procedural documentation and refining technical tools. He joined Cargas in 2010 as a software engineer and team leader.
