Cavagna Group expands use of business software program

September 15, 2016 By

Cavagna Group has partnered with SAP to integrate its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software at Cavagna North America, Cavagna’s subsidiary in Somerset, New Jersey.

SAP’s software allows organizations to use a system of integrated applications to manage the business and automate back-office functions related to technology, services and human resources. ERP software combines all facets of an operation into a single database, application and user interface. Through the expansion, SAP’s ERP software will be integrated at Cavagna North America.

According to Cavagna, the implementation of SAP’s system represents the company’s largest technology infrastructure investment in its 70-year history. The partnership will help Cavagna North America become more efficient in providing customers with LP gas products, the company says.

“As we launch SAP here in North America, we recognize that it will optimize our information exchange globally,” says Richard Darché, Cavagna North America’s president.
