CPERC also represents the propane industry in Colorado. The purpose of the organization is to establish and facilitate programs to enhance safety, training, research, and development and safety education in the propane industry, CPERC says. It is funded primarily by the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) through PERC’s state rebate program, and all projects funded by CPERC are open to industry members – regardless of their membership to CPERC, the National Propane Gas Association or other membership association.
