CPGA, NMPGA name 2021-22 directors

The Colorado Propane Gas Association (CPGA) and the Colorado Propane Education & Research Council (CPERC) named their board of directors for 2021-22.

Founded in 1950, CPGA is a trade and membership service organization representing propane retailers throughout Colorado. Its primary purpose is to maintain practice standards within the industry, and protect and expand the ability of its members to compete in the industry, according to CPGA.

CPERC also represents the propane industry in Colorado. The purpose of the organization is to establish and facilitate programs to enhance safety, training, research and development, and safety education in the propane industry, CPERC says. It is funded primarily by the Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) through PERC’s state rebate program, and all projects funded by CPERC are open to industry members – regardless of their membership to CPERC, the National Propane Gas Association or other membership association.

The New Mexico Propane Gas Association (NMPGA) and the New Mexico Propane Education Research Foundation (NMPERF) named their board of directors for 2021-22.

The mission of the NMPGA is to promote the proper handling and use of propane, to work for a favorable environment for propane distribution and marketing, and to spread its use by demonstrating propane’s value as a clean energy source.

The NMPERF represents the propane industry in the state of New Mexico by establishing and facilitating programs to enhance safety, training, research and development, and safety education in the propane gas industry. NMPERF is also funded primarily through PERC’s state rebate program.
