Crestwood makes executive changes

June 9, 2017 By

Long-time energy industry executive Bill Gautreaux, chief marketing officer and president of Crestwood’s marketing supply and logistics group, plans to resign from Crestwood Equity Partners as of June 30.

Gautreaux has served as Crestwood’s chief marketing officer and president of its supply and logistics group since the completion of the merger between Crestwood and Inergy in 2013, the company says. Prior to the merger, Gautreaux led Inergy Services as its president for about 15 years.

As a result of the resignation, Crestwood promoted John Powell and Vance Harrington to serve as co-heads of its supply and logistics group, according to Crestwood. Powell will serve as senior vice president and chief commercial officer of the group, and Harrington will serve as senior vice president and chief operations officer of the group. In addition, Philip Bouillette will continue to serve as Crestwood’s vice president of business development of NGL, and Will Moore will continue to serve as Crestwood’s senior vice president of corporate strategy.

“Four years ago, we successfully merged Inergy LP with Crestwood Midstream Partners,” Gautreaux says. “Since then, the [supply and logistics group] has been a very solid performer. Given our strong situation and potential for future successes, I have decided that now is the right time for me to step aside and make a personal and professional transition.

“We have a highly talented leadership team in place and are incredibly well positioned as the industry returns to growth,” he adds. “John Powell and Vance Harrington are seasoned professionals who are more than capable of leading the Crestwood [supply and logistics] group into the future.”
