Crestwood names two senior VPs, co-heads

Crestwood Energy Partners appointed John Powell and Vance Harrington to be co-heads of the company’s marketing supply and logistics group.

Powell will now serve as senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Crestwood’s marketing supply and logistics group, and Harrington will now serve as senior vice president and chief operations officer at Crestwood’s marketing supply and logistics group. Both Powell and Harrington will share functional oversight of analytics, business development, IT and accounting.

In Powell’s new position, he has oversight of marketing for wholesale, supply, pipelines, rail terminals, trading and logistics. He has more than 22 years of experience in the energy trading industry. He previously held key management positions at Koch Supply and Trading, PG&E Trading, Louis Dreyfus Energy Trading, Inergy Propane LLC and Crestwood Services following the Inergy’s merger with Crestwood in 2012.

In Harrington’s new position, he has oversight of operations and profits and losses for all LP gas assets, including Crestwood’s truck fleet, rail terminals, storage facilities and fractionators. Harrington has more than 37 years of experience in the energy industry. He joined Inergy in 2005 after having held key management positions at Mapco, Shell, Louis Dreyfus Energy Trading, Enterprise Products Partners and SemStream.
