DCC acquires Pacific Coast Energy

DCC LPG acquired Pacific Coast Energy, representing the company’s first material follow-on in the U.S. propane market.

Pacific Coast Energy, a propane distribution business operating in the northwestern United States, services residential and commercial customers in Washington and Oregon from six facilities. DCC says the acquisition strengthens its position in the region as it continues to target further expansion in the U.S. propane market.

“DCC LPG’s acquisition of Pacific Coast Energy, our first material bolt-on in the U.S. LPG market, will strengthen our position in the northwest [region] of the U.S., helping to build further scale in that region,” says Donal Murphy, chief executive of DCC.
