The Icom Dynamic Dual Fuel System achieves a maximum displacement of diesel with LPG, CNG, RNG and LNG, according to the company. The system produces high performance, reduces emissions and often increases miles per gallon from 3 percent to 7 percent, which equals fuel-cost savings and a move to sustainability, the company adds. The system is available in many countries for numerous engines, including Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, Volvo, PACCAR, Mercedes, Iveco, Weichai and Scania. Applications include on-road trucks, buses, mining/construction/port vehicles and equipment, generators, marine and rail. Icom North America’s fuel tanks, liquid propane injection systems, and supporting products are supplied to OEMs and the aftermarkets worldwide.
