Durkin Propane acquires Economy Energy

Durkin Propane of Brewster, New York – owned by Ray and Andy Durkin – purchased Economy Energy of Peekskill, New York.

Founded in 2010 by Henry Seger and Patty McGrath, Economy Energy is a family-owned propane company that services Westchester and Putnam counties and the surrounding areas of New York. Both Seger and McGrath have been involved in the propane industry for more than 50 years.

Durkin Propane is a full-service provider of propane, pool water and emergency drinking water.

Blue Peak Resources, a merger and acquisitions consulting firm, advised on the sale of Economy Energy.
