Enterprise to add another fractionator at Mont Belvieu

Enterprise Products Partners LP plans to build its ninth natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionator at its complex in Mont Belvieu, Texas. This fractionator will have a capacity of 85,000 barrels per day (bpd) and is expected to be in operation as early as January 2016.

According to a press release, Enterprise will have a gross NGL fractionation capacity of 755,000 bpd at Mont Belvieu and a total gross NGL fractionation of about 1.2 million bpd upon completion of this latest fractionator. Enterprise says it will have about 265,000 bpd of propane production capability at Mont Belvieu upon completion of the ninth fractionator.

In addition, Enterprise says it secured the required permits and emission credits for both the ninth and a similarly sized 10th NGL fractionator at Mont Belvieu.
