F.W. Webb expands to Somerdale, New Jersey, with new wholesale store

F.W. Webb Co. opened a new self-service wholesale store and warehouse in Somerdale, New Jersey, expanding its presence in the greater Philadelphia region and offering trade professionals a centralized supply and solution hub.
The 44,000-square-foot facility at 900 Kennedy Blvd. will serve plumbing, heating, HVAC/R and other professionals seeking systems, tools, equipment, parts and accessories.
“We identified this market as one with promising growth potential and anticipate this new store will become an important resource for the trades in this community,” says COO Bob Mucciarone. “In recent years, we have built a strong foundation in the mid-Atlantic region, and we now look forward to providing our products, service and support to even more contractors in this area.”
The store is accessible from White Horse Pike, the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 295. The open-concept layout is designed to help customers quickly locate products and return to job sites, according to the company.
Key features include a large in-stock inventory of project-ready materials, online ordering, will-call service and free local delivery. The company says the layout is intended to help contractors efficiently find replacement parts, cleaning supplies and other products.
“For everyone from one-van contractors to operators at large facilities, this store was built to be a place the trades can count on,” says Tim D’Armiento, general manager of F.W. Webb’s Somerdale operations. “The product selection is here, the support is here and our goal is to help contractors complete their projects efficiently and play a key role in their success.”
Operations Manager Lanea Motley and Store Manager Jason Ferriero will lead the location. The store will be open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The company is hiring for multiple roles to support the new site.
The opening is part of F.W. Webb’s expansion across the mid-Atlantic. The company also hosts annual trade shows in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and maintains partnerships with the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies. It recently installed signage at Citizens Bank Park to mark its 160th anniversary.
F.W. Webb traces its roots to the second plumbing supply house in Boston, Massachusetts, founded on April 11, 1866, by John Van Ness Stults. The company has since expanded its operations while continuing to focus on serving trade professionals.
