1. Argus Media held its first Argus LPG Awards for Excellence, recognizing individuals, projects and technologies that have excelled in the LPG industry. The five award categories are: Trader of the Year, Executive of the Year, the Infrastructure Project Award, Technology Innovation Award and New Frontiers Award. 3. The annual LP Gas Hall of Fame black-tie dinner and awards ceremony brings the propane industry together for a night of celebration. This year’s event is scheduled for April 5 at the Omni Nashville Hotel in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Shown here at last year’s event are, from left, Liv Poland, Michelle Mitchell and Joan Miller. Poland and Miller are members of the propane industry, and Mitchell is the director of marketing and events for LP Gas parent company North Coast Media.

4. Seven companies at the New York Propane Gas Association’s fall conference were recognized as veteran-friendly employers that support the Vets2Techs mission of employing military service members. Companies honored were L.P. Transportation, R.E. Michel, Lin’s Propane Trucks, Mirabito Holdings, Wendt’s Propane & Oil, Paraco Gas and Superior Plus Propane.
