Lakes Gas celebrated the grand opening of its newest location in Minocqua, Wisconsin. A ribbon-cutting with the local Chamber of Commerce was held to mark the official opening of the facility, which will serve residential, commercial and agricultural customers in Minocqua and the surrounding areas.

The commission approved a $650,000 budget for fiscal year 2025-26, reaffirming its commitment to consumer awareness, propane adoption, workforce development as well as safety education across the state.

Propane industry members visit during a welcome reception for the 75th Western Propane Trade Show & Convention held earlier this year in Reno, Nevada. The reception took place at the city’s National Bowling Stadium. The trade show moves next year to Portland, Oregon.

Rural Computer Consultants (RCC) founder Brian Sheehan, left, receives a plaque from LP Gas Brand Manager Brian Kanaba during RCC’s user conference in San Antonio. These editors are on the same page. Certainly not planned, LP Gas Editor-in-Chief Brian Richesson, left, and Managing Editor Chris Markham wore nearly identical shirts to the office. The similarities in their wardrobes drew laughter from their North Coast Media colleagues.
