Former Heritage president moves into consulting

Bill Powers, who recently served as Heritage Propane’s president, has joined Propane Associates LLC to offer consulting services to propane and dual-fuel retailers. Powers will team with Joe Vassallo, C. Justin McCarthy and John Levey at the consulting company.

“Over the past several years, we’ve found that a significant percentage of our business involves propane and dual-fuel retailers” Vassallo says. “In addition, several clients have asked us to search for existing propane businesses that may be acquisition candidates. We believe that by partnering with Bill we’ll be able to bring additional expertise to focus on the opportunities currently available in both the [heating oil] and propane industries.”
