September 2, 2022 By

Grammer Logistics named Scott Dobak its new CEO.

In addition to the new role, Dobak will also join the company’s board of directors. According to Grammer, Dobak brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role. He joins Grammer from Hufcor Inc., an industrial manufacturing company, where he held the position of CEO. Prior to that, he was president and CEO of Dicom Transportation, a small parcel, LTL and third-party logistics provider servicing the North American market.

Additionally, Dobak served as president at Roadrunner Transportation, a blended asset-based multimodal logistics company, and began his career at Yellow Corp., departing as vice president of corporate sales.

Grammer, a portfolio company of Stellex Capital Management and Mill Rock Capital, is a transportation and logistics firm for specialty chemicals, gases and materials. The company provides a suite of services, including logistics, transportation, transloading, terminaling and handling of chemicals and materials. The company has more than 20 facilities located near major chemical production hubs across the U.S.

“Grammer has an excellent reputation in the chemicals industry, and I am thrilled to join the company at this exciting time,” says Dobak. “With the support of all the team members, we are well positioned to continue our growth trajectory and build on the legacy that the Whittington family started many decades ago.”
