Growmark appoints new vice president of energy and logistics

Growmark named Mike Builta to serve as vice president, energy and logistics.

The position will take effect on Feb. 15. Builta replaces Kevin Carroll, who is retiring after 32 years with the company.

Builta is currently general manager of Grainco FS, based in Ottawa, Illinois, and previously served as general manager of Christian County Farmers Supply in Taylorville, Illinois. Builta’s experience includes serving customers at Illini FS, sales administration roles for non-system seed companies, and partnering in a family farm operation.
