Kent Cochran has been named the Southeastern U.S. outside area sales manager for Marshall Excelsior. He will replace Scott Manley, who is retiring. Manley will be working to transition this role completely to Cochran by the end of 2018.

Cochran most recently worked at NGL Energy Operating as district manager of four branches in Georgia. Prior to that, he was employed by AmeriGas as the PTI Mid-Atlantic regional logistics manager. In this position, he managed all wholesale storage and distribution assets within the Southeast. He has a firm understanding of LPG systems in a variety of applications and scenarios, Marshall Excelsior says.

Cochran is based in Cartersville, Georgia, and will provide hands-on support, technical training, sales/marketing support and will be a general liaison to all customers located in the following southeastern states and regions: North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. According to the company, Cochran will be traveling in the coming months to make formal introductions to all Marshall Excelsior distributors in this region.
