Lakes Gas adds district manager

Lakes Gas hired Aaron Huizenga to fill the position of district manager of eastern Wisconsin.

In his new role, Huizenga is responsible for improving and streamlining processes, supporting the company’s branches in eastern Wisconsin and Michigan, and focusing on growth and expansion for the company.

Previously, he worked at Ferrellgas for five years. He served as a general manager for four years, leading the sales team, negotiating and selling contracts, and working on brand awareness, among other tasks.

In 2019, he was promoted to regional vice president of the Great Lakes at the company, where his responsibilities included leading high-level managers, managing operating expenses and developing marketing plans designed to promote growth.

“[I am] very excited to be welcomed into the Lakes Gas family and look forward to being able to make contributions to our customers’ experiences, marketing efforts and company prosperity,” Huizenga says.

Lakes Gas, founded in 1959, is based in Wyoming, Minnesota. It was listed as one of LP Gas’ Top Propane Retailers in 2020.
