Lakes Gas appoints regional account manager

Lakes Gas hired Michael Braunlin as regional account manager out of its Minneapolis office.

Braunlin brings 15 years of business intelligence and Peace Corps service to Lakes Gas. With a foundation in entrepreneurship, he created a prosperous commercial cleaning enterprise in 2021.

Braunlin spent 28 months with the Peace Corps in South Africa, living on a desert plateau with limited resources. During this time, he spearheaded community-focused projects, including the construction of a library, a hydroponic tomato operation and an after-school volleyball program, imparting valuable leadership skills to local youth, Lakes Gas explains.

Amid his professional pursuits, Braunlin continues to return to Africa, where he spends a week at a time with wild elephant herds and photographs them.

Braunlin’s unique blend of business insight and community commitment promises to contribute to the growth and innovation of the propane industry, according to Lakes Gas. His experiences, both in the corporate world and through transformative community projects, position him to make a meaningful impact on both local communities and the broader industry.
