Legacy Energy Consulting completes cylinder exchange, retail propane deals

Ozarc Gas Equipment & Supply, based in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, acquired the forklift assets and customers of Island Energy, headquartered in Paragould, Arkansas.

Ozarc gains about 100 new customers from the acquisition. It will expand its retail propane presence into northeastern Arkansas out of the Paragould, Arkansas, location.

Island Energy will grow its bulk propane and liquids transport business following the sale of its propane cylinder exchange division.

Josh and Heidi Schmoll purchased Waquie Propane, headquartered in Jemez Pueblo, New Mexico. Waquie Propane has provided service to Sandoval County and the surrounding area since 1979.

Legacy Energy Consulting facilitated the sales of Island Energy and Waquie Propane. The sales mark the first two completed deals for Legacy Energy Consulting in 2024. The firm has completed 18 transactions since it was founded in 2020.
