Director of Safety, Education and Compliance

The Iowa Propane Gas Association is looking to hire a Director of Safety, Education and Compliance. This will be a full-time position. Salary will be based upon experience.
Travel is required.
Under the general direction and supervision of the CEO, this position will manage the overall propane safety program for the Iowa Propane Gas Association as directed by its members. Key responsibilities are to provide strong and visible safety leadership through training, and field communications, working towards the goal to have the safest propane companies in the industry. Participate in the development of safety/operational standards, procedures and policies, and lead the implementation of these systems and programs to improve the group's ability to exceed industry safety/compliance standards. Provide technical support to resolve safety related issues.
