Malzahn Gas Service sells to undisclosed buyer

An undisclosed buyer purchased Malzahn Gas Service of Sparrow Bush, New York.

Founded in 1967 by Vince Malzahn and his wife, Sally, Malzahn Gas Service is a residential-based propane company that services New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The Malzahn family has been involved in the propane industry for more than 53 years. Vince and Sally’s son John Malzahn will stay on with the new company.

Merger and acquisitions consulting firm Blue Peak Resources, an adviser to Malzahn Gas, served as the facilitator and negotiator. The team provided the financial valuations, prepared the business offering package to potential buyers, and assisted in the negotiations and final deal terms.
