Manchester Tank unveils new plant with ribbon cutting

October 2, 2020 By

Manchester Tank & Equipment opened its new plant in Campbellsville, Kentucky, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The 230,000-sq.-ft. facility at 901 New Columbia Road will manufacture residential propane tanks ranging in size from 120 to 1,000 gallons, as well as mid-size pressurized air receivers, the company says.

The Campbellsville plant will employ 100 team members by the end of the year. That number is expected to continue growing.

The event included plant tours beginning at 10 a.m., with the ribbon cutting ceremony at 12:30 p.m. The ceremony was also streamed live on Facebook.

Manchester Tank has been involved in the design and manufacturing of steel and aluminum low-pressure DOT cylinders and ASME pressure vessels for the storage and transport of propane, chemicals, compressed air and other industrial applications since 1946.

Manchester Tank’s products are used for propane storage, forklifts, fire suppression systems, air compressors, chemical storage and refrigerant systems.
