Marshall Excelsior names new hire, promotion

Marshall Excelsior Co. (MEC) added John Gregg to its sales team as the new sales manager for the western U.S. and Canada.

Gregg joins MEC after 10 years of sales experience within the LPG industry as both a territory sales representative and a regional sales manager for the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska.

He is based out of Colbert, Washington, and will be providing hands-on support, technical training, sales/marketing support and be a general liaison to all customers located in his territory, MEC says.

Additionally, MEC promoted Jeff Brown to the role of vice president of engineering. Brown originally joined the team as a design engineer manager before becoming the director of engineering two years later. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering and has about 17 years of experience in design, manufacturing and engineering leadership.

In his new role, Brown is responsible for launching both internally developed and acquired new products and technologies. According to the company, he will also share his experience and help to guide the technical efforts of his team members in their work.
