Metsa expands tank production, transportation capacity

May 20, 2020 By

Metsa Inc. has completed a production and transportation expansion project that has enabled the company to double its production output and quintuple its transportation capacity, according to the company. The family-owned propane tank manufacturing company reports the investment will improve lead times and factory-to-patio deliveries with its own trucks and boom cranes. Metsa says the expansion not only allows it to produce its models faster and at a high quality but also to start manufacturing its new line of dispenser models ranging up to 2,000-gallon tanks. Metsa’s investment included building a new production line and infrastructure for the manufacturing of stationary tanks, and updating the equipment in its paint line to improve its part quality and product output.
