New autogas tank option offers flexibility

Roush CleanTech revealed its newest propane autogas tank option at NPGA’s Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo in Nashville, Tennessee. The company’s 35-usable gallon, single-saddle propane autogas tank is designed for the Ford F-450 and F-550 models. The tank is passenger-side mounted, which allows it to fit in a variety of body applications. According to Roush CleanTech, propane companies that use 84-in. cab-to-axle fleet vehicles no longer need to order a size up to accommodate a propane tank. The new tank will fit 84-in., 120-in. and 180-in. cab-to-axle fleet vehicles. In addition, applications for the new tank design include box trucks, flatbeds, service trucks, mini-bobtails, crane trucks and cylinder delivery trucks.
