NGL Energy Partners acquires three water-disposal facilities in Texas

NGL Energy Partners LP acquired the water-disposal business of Coastal Plains Disposal #1 LLC, complementing its existing footprint in the Eagle Ford shale play in Texas. According to a press release, NGL Energy Partners’ footprint in the region now includes 240,000 barrels per day of water-disposal capacity.

The acquisition expands NGL Energy Partners subsidiary High Sierra Water-Eagle Ford LLC’s water-gathering and treatment infrastructure portfolio by three water-disposal facilities. The acquisition also includes an option to acquire a fourth water-disposal facility currently under development. The fourth is expected to be operational before the end of this year.

In addition, the acquisition includes options to acquire two other permitted locations.
