Palfinger named Ismael Daneluz vice president of sales and service for its North America region.

Daneluz will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on the company’s goals to promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization and target specific market segments and geographic locations, according to the company.

Currently vice president of sales and service for Palfinger in Latin America, Daneluz will continue to be a member of the Latin American leadership team in a dual role.

Daneluz has a degree in business administration, specializing in marketing and strategy, and holds an executive master’s in corporate finance and law from ESADE Business & Law School. He brings more than 17 years of management experience and has worked in Europe and Latin America. His other roles have included sales and business development, corporate strategy, project management, finance and purchasing at Palfinger locations in Brazil, Austria and Spain.

He rejoined Palfinger after serving as the managing director of Tim Hortons Iberia since 2018. Since returning, he helped drive record sales with the regional management team, according to the company.

“In addition to his broad management experience, Ismael has an excellent understanding of our industry and a strong network within Palfinger,” says Gerhard Sturm, senior vice president of global sales and service. “He is very well equipped to lead all commercial activities, drive brand positioning and sales growth in the North American region, together with the regional management team and strongly supported by our Global Palfinger Organization structure.”
