Palmer Gas & Oil appoints new managers
Palmer Gas & Oil made several changes to its management team to support long-term growth.
Ben Kaul was promoted to delivery manager and will lead the fuel delivery team with a focus on data analytics and optimization. Kaul is well-versed in transportation and logistics management, having been with Palmer Gas & Oil for five years as a delivery scheduler and with a major package transport company for several years prior.
Jim Martin joined Palmer Gas & Oil as the sales manager, replacing Leslie Steeves, who transitioned to the newly created role of key account manager. Martin is a 16-year veteran of the fuel industry and has worked in both sales and operations management. His focus will be on new business, while Steeves will shift her focus to large customer retention.
Scott Ireland is Palmer Gas & Oil’s new safety manager, chartered with ensuring that employees prioritize the company’s core value of safety. Ireland will work closely with field teams to ensure the strictest adherence to safety protocols, according to the company. Ireland has held many safety positions across a number of industries in his 35-plus-year career.
Bill Chisholm is new to the industry but not new to purchasing product and maintaining inventory levels. As the supply and pricing manager, Chisholm will lead a team responsible for ensuring that Palmer Gas & Oil has plenty of fuel on hand to meet the challenges of New England weather.
“We are excited to welcome these new managers to the team,” says Peter Iacobucci, general manager. “We are committed to ensuring that we are prepared to meet the needs of our customers both now and in the future, and supplementing an already high-performance team with these new talents will help to achieve that.”
Palmer Gas & Oil is a family-owned and -operated propane and oil delivery and service company based in Atkinson, New Hampshire, with more than 90 years serving New Hampshire, northern Massachusetts and southern Maine.
