Paraco Gas expands Pennsylvania territory

October 8, 2021 By

Rye Brook, New York-based Paraco Gas acquired Gilbert, Pennsylvania-based Warner’s Propane & Oil. Founded in 1994 by Gary Warner, Warner’s is a family-owned propane company.

“We have known Paraco, and specifically Christina Armentano, for years,” say owners Gary and Cecilia Warner. “Paraco’s approach toward acquisitions, their emphasis on family values and their ability to take care of our customers and employees made us confident that this is truly the right fit for taking over where we left off. We know our people will be in good hands.”

Eric Warner, a member of the Warner family’s second generation, will continue to support the operation moving forward.

“This is our second acquisition in the last year and we are honored to welcome Warner’s Propane & Oil to our family of acquired companies,” says Christina Armentano, executive vice president at Paraco. “Acquisitions involve more than just two business owners. An acquisition also has variables at the employee level and the customer level, and Paraco is pretty specific about the type of family businesses that are a good fit for our culture. Warner’s offered a growing organization with talented employees and a culture that shares our belief in putting the customer first.”

The acquisition is Paraco’s 53rd in total and marks Paraco’s fourth distribution location in Pennsylvania, a region the company has served since 2005. With this acquisition, Paraco will expand its service territory into Monroe County, Carbon County, Lehigh County, Northampton County, eastern Schuylkill County and southern Luzerne County.
