Paraco selects director of supply chain management

Paraco Gas appointed Donna Howay to director of supply chain management.

Howay, who has served 18 years at Paraco, will expand her scope of procurement responsibilities to include product supply. She previously held roles in showroom sales, inside sales, customer service, regional management, special projects and purchasing management.

“Donna is a proven leader, known for being solutions-oriented and driving results,” says Christina Armentano, COO and executive vice president at Paraco. “Her background and experience will play well in her new role.”

Howay will manage the process of ensuring Paraco’s propane supply, which involves balancing supply-side activities, maximizing customer value and understanding the intricacies of the propane market, the company says.

“I am extremely honored to work for a company that has allowed me the opportunities to continue to grow and apply my skills to various segments of the business,” says Howay. “During my tenure, I’ve learned about the propane industry, and I am excited to utilize those skills to build the next generation of supply at Paraco. I’m looking forward to working with business partners with whom I have not previously had the opportunity to [work], maneuvering the ever-changing, volatile market, and building our portfolio as it relates to contracts, hedging and overall strategy.”
