Peterbilt develops Class 7/8 medium-duty truck models

Peterbilt Motors Co. revealed two new medium-duty truck models, developed for the Class 7/8 segment: Model 537 and Model 548. The models have been built upon a customizable chassis, along with a sturdy multiplex electrical architecture. Additionally, the models provide users continuous body builder integration, which enables customization as they spec the trucks to fit their needs. The models have two hood options: a three-piece Metton hood and a three-piece SMC aero hood. Both hood options can use a variety of vocational and front engine power take-off bumpers to fit different applications. The company also cites notable features with suspension, a wider cab and a new instrument cluster.
