Alliance AutoGas, Donaldson filters

Alliance AutoGas and Donaldson Co. launched a line of LP gas filters that remove potentially harmful particulate matter and heavy ends from propane systems, according to the companies. As autogas has increased in popularity, consistent fuel quality has become a greater need for fleet customers. The companies released two filters that are designed to eliminate potential fuel contamination issues with autogas fuel dispenser systems. An LP gas particulate filter was developed to remove 99 percent of harmful particulates 0.5 micron and larger. In addition, the companies designed a secondary absorbent carbon filter to remove heavy ends without removing the odorant from propane. Fleets demanding maximum performance from their propane vehicles could benefit from these filtration products through reduced vehicle downtime and maintenance, Alliance AutoGas reports. In addition, the dual filter design can be tailored to a fleet’s specific needs. They can be sold and installed separately or together to ensure a customized solution.
