March 14, 2011 By

The ACT Expo will partner with the Propane Education & Research Council to produce the 2011 Propane Engine Fuel Summit on May 3-4 in Long Beach, Calif.

The summit will be webcast live and will span two days starting on May 3 from 1-5 p.m. PST, continuing May 4 from 8 a.m. to noon PST. There is no charge to register for the Propane Engine Fuel Summit via webcast. Seats are available to attend the Propane Engine Fuel Summit in-person at a cost of $75 to $100.

During the Propane Engine Fuel Summit, leading propane manufacturers of vehicles, dispensing equipment, fuel tanks and turnkey operators will showcase the many economic and environmental benefits of propane as an alternative fuel option for fleets. Representatives will also discuss government assistance programs available to help fleets switch to propane as a clean, alternative fuel. The summit will commence with a tour of one of Southern California’s largest propane fueling stations used by the Los Angeles Unified School District that houses a 15,000-gallon fuel tank.

Early registration is open for the Propane Engine Fuel Summit and ACT Expo. Sponsor packages are now available for these events, with special discounts extended to companies who elect to participate in the Propane Engine Fuel Summit and ACT Expo.

Following the Propane Engine Fuel Summit, the ACT Expo, the nation’s largest clean vehicle technologies and alternative fuels conference, will commence on the evening of May 4 with an opening reception, followed by two full days of programming on May 5-6. All events will take place at the Long Beach Convention Center.
