Amendment favoring natural gas defeated

An amendment that would have given preferential tax treatment only to natural gas and natural gas vehicles was defeated with the help of the industry’s grassroots contacts, NPGA announced. Meanwhile, the industry continues to push for the passage of The Propane Gas Act, which would extend fuel, vehicle and infrastructure tax credits for five years.
