Propane mower emits less than gasoline, diesel

November 12, 2012 By

Kubota Tractor Corp. offers the propane-powered Kubota ZP330 as the latest addition to its Z-Series commercial mowers. The ZP330 features a 60- or 72-inch deck option and a 31-gross horsepower, 3-cylinder, liquid-cooled propane engine.

The mower reduces emissions compared to its gasoline and diesel counterparts while maintaining the same levels of productivity, the company says. The propane engine also eliminates carburetor maintenance and vapor lock problems, and it provides the convenience of longtime storage without worry of fuel deterioration.
