Rinnai condensing tankless water heater comes with new capabilities

Rinnai is releasing new capabilities for its Sensei RX condensing tankless water heater. Featuring Smart-Circ Intelligent Recirculation, the series offers natural gas, propane gas, and indoor and outdoor capability in one model, resulting in a 4:1 stock-keeping unit reduction. Professionals can connect their smartphones or tablets to the water heater via Bluetooth, decreasing setup time and improving serviceability. Rinnai’s Smart Sense adaptive gas valve technology adjusts to either natural gas or liquid propane gas for optimal combustion and flexible installation without a conversion kit. The Quick Flush capability provides a more efficient flushing procedure to facilitate periodic preventive maintenance. The unit boasts up to 0.98 Uniform Energy Factor, a measure of water heater efficiency. The Versa Vent, sold separately, is an outdoor vent cap that adapts to any Sensei RX model for outdoor installations.
