Scott Petroleum Inc. purchases Mississippi gasoline distributor

Scott Petroleum Inc., a gasoline distributor and convenience store operator headquartered in Itta Bena, Miss., purchased Benoit, Miss.-based gasoline distributor Bostick Brothers Inc., the Associated Press reported. Details of the transaction were not released. Scott Petroleum is the 22nd-largest propane retailer in the United States, according to LP Gas Magazine’s Top 50 listings.
