Through a partnership with homebuilder Beazer Homes, Sharp Energy will supply propane to Bishop’s Landing, a new 449-unit residential community in Millville, Del., the propane marketer announced.

Sharp Energy has been installing and operating its propane distribution systems, referred to as Community Gas Systems, since 1993. Today, 7,200 Sharp customers in more than 62 communities utilize central fuel storage facilities with underground gas mains for their fueling needs, the company notes.

Delaware-based Sharp Energy is a subsidiary of Chesapeake Utilities Corp. and the 22nd largest propane marketer in the country, according to the LP Gas Top 50. Beazer Homes is one of the country’s 10 largest single-family homebuilders.
