Suburban Propane elects two to board of supervisors
Suburban Propane Partners LP’s board of supervisors elected Terence J. Connors and William M. Landuyt to join the board Jan. 1 after it voted to increase the number of independent members from seven to eight.
Connors has nearly 40 years of public accounting experience, according to Suburban Propane. He retired in September 2015 from KPMG LLP where he served as a professional practice partner, SEC reviewing partner and as a member of its board of directors. Throughout his career, he has worked in several senior audit and global lead partner roles for numerous public companies. He also currently works as a director and audit committee chairman at a large automotive parts remanufacturer, Suburban Propane adds.
Landuyt has nearly 40 years of investment and senior executive management experience in a range of public and private businesses across several industries, Suburban Propane says. He has served as the managing director at Charterhouse Equity Partners since 2013. Prior to that, he worked at Millennium Chemicals as its chairman of the board, president and CEO from 1983 to 1996. He is also the cofounder and executive director of Celtic Charms Inc., a nonprofit therapeutic horsemanship center that helps people with physical and cognitive disabilities.
