Tankfarm develops voice command service for propane

Tankfarm, the tech-enabled propane distribution platform, released its new service, Tankfarm Voice. The service is compatible with Alexa, Siri and Google devices and is an extension of the company’s mobile app. The service allows the company’s customers to use their Alexa-, Siri- or Google-powered devices to check their propane price per gallon, how much propane is left in their tank or the details of their last delivery. They can also ask to be connected to the call center for assistance. The company says it intends to expand upon these voice skills in upcoming releases. The company is a propane distribution company focused on the residential market. It invests in software and tank monitors to make deliveries more efficient and profitable for propane marketers and more convenient for consumers.
