Italian-based Fratelli Pettinaroli acquired Jomar Group, both of which are valve manufacturers. Fratelli Pettinaroli acquired 50 percent of Jomar Group in 2001, and purchased the remaining 50 percent of its business this summer.

Warren, Michigan-based Jomar Group manufactures and supplies ball valves, butterfly valves, actuation, check valves, balancing valves and strainers. It also has several patented valve solutions.

“Being fully owned by one of the leading manufacturers of valves in the world is a huge step forward for Jomar,” says Paul Craig, president of Jomar. “The manufacturing and product development resources now available will provide the vehicle for Jomar to continue growth through innovation for years to come.”

Craig, along with the management team, will remain with the company. Fratelli Pettinaroli is ISO 9001, ISO 50001 and ISO 14001 certified, and was founded more than 80 years ago.
