Wabash National names new sales director, manager

Wabash National Corp. appointed a new director of sales and a sales manager of parts and service.

Both new hires will help with Wabash National’s aviation and truck equipment business, which manufactures Progress Tank truck-mounted tanks used for hauling refined fuel, heating oil, propane and liquid waste. The company’s aviation and truck equipment business also includes the Garsite brand of aviation refuelers and fueling systems.

Doug Twyford joins Wabash National as its director of sales for the aviation and truck equipment business. Twyford will lead the strategic growth for the company’s Progress Tank and Garsite brands. He previously served as the business development director at Black Cat Blades, and he has a background in sales, marketing and product management.

Neal Ropp joins Wabash National as a sales manager of parts and service. Ropp will lead key growth and service initiatives to support customers’ aftermarket needs across the Progress Tank and Garsite brands. According to the company, he will focus on improving distribution reach and responsiveness. Ropp previously served as the general manager for Averitt Express, and he has a background in repair station operations, aircraft management and aircraft sales.
