Westmor fits tandem axle bobtail with 6,400-gallon tank

Westmor Industries can now equip a tandem axle chassis with a 6,400-gallon tank. Fully loaded at 80 percent capacity, the bobtail weighs under 52,000 pounds, with 18,000 on the front axle and less than 34,000 on the tandem axle. This lightweight, high-volume tank design is part of Westmor’s Blueline QX bobtail line, which provides drivers the benefit of delivering more propane per load, says the company. With the Blueline QX bobtail, drivers can extend their routes before having to return to a bulk plant to load. The bobtail features a vessel manufactured by Westmor, bolt-on removable fenders and a centrally located electrical panel. Options on the bobtail include hose reel cover, back-up camera, pump stabilization, high-mount taillight bar, enclosed decking and service cabinet.
